Non Ferrous Materials

The Kroot Corporation buys all grades of non-ferrous metals including copper, brasses, aluminum, stainless & alloys.

These materials are segregated by chemistry, baled and shipped to the various non-ferrous end users in the Eastern U.S.

The Kroot Corporation also operates one of the larger sweat furnace productions in the country. Aluminum for the furnace is categorized as to its chemistry, melted and then analyzed on a spectrometer prior to shipment. The furnace is operated in compliance with state and federal requirements. Note that we do pick up materials.

• Can a contractor bring in a trailer full of metals to recycle?

Yes

• Can a contractor bring in a trailer itself to be recycled?

Yes – a title must be provided for this.

The Kroot Corporation will typically set hoppers / dumpsters on site for a company to fill with scrap metal if needed. The company will then just call and we will pick it up, bring it back to The Kroot Corporation, sort it, and then pay that company for their materials. This is all done free of charge.
